Who are we?
I'm Brooke. I'm Canadian, but with a hint of British. I'm what some may call "Gen X." Despite being told by my art teacher that I had no talent, it didn't stop my creative output. Likewise, I didn't allow my disability to prevent me from doing what I wanted in life. I've had ailments since the early 1980s, including scoliosis and bad hips. I'm a huge proponent of disability rights, with an interest in catering to the community! I'm also a massive heavy metal and hard rock fan (KISS, y'all!), as well as a keen gamer.
Why custom nails? I started out in 1997 and went full legit in 2013. Seriously, I have a certificate and everything! In 2014, I opened my own business, which became somewhat thriving. I moved to Elliot Lake, Ontario in 2018. Sadly, I had to shutter my nail business in 2021, due to my inability to sit for hours, hunched over. But now I'm back, working exclusively online!
